Bahman Yazdani

Associate Director, Energy Systems Laboratory, Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES)

Mr. Bahman Yazdani, P.E., has over 38 years of experience in energy management, energy efficiency, and energy codes. He has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator on more than $45 million in research projects, supporting energy initiatives for municipalities, school districts, and private organizations across Texas.

At the Energy Systems Laboratory (ESL), he plays a key role in statewide efforts under the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP), including energy code adoption support, development of compliance tools such as the International Code Compliance Calculator (IC3), and reporting on emissions reductions. He has also served as Conference Chair for the Clean Air Through Energy Efficiency (CATEE) Conference and contributed extensively to Continuous Commissioning® projects. Mr. Yazdani holds degrees from Louisiana State University and Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, actively involved in regional and state energy advisory organizations.
