Dave Lauterbach

David M.J. Lauterbach, PE, is an energy engineering expert with more than four decades of experience helping industrial organizations improve energy efficiency, reliability, and cost performance. During his career with DuPont, he served as a Subject Matter Expert in Energy within the corporate Engineering Technology Center, where he led initiatives to identify, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency improvements across manufacturing facilities.

His expertise spans steam and utility systems, combustion and boiler technologies, energy management programs, and business energy strategy. David is known for making complex energy systems understandable and turning them into practical solutions, as well as providing impactful training for engineers, operators, and leadership teams.
