Meet
James Robinson

James (Jim) is the Principal Project Engineer and founding member of DES. He is an early implementer of advanced systems and controls to improve utility efficiency, resilience, and reduce fossil fuel usage. In the 70’s he was commissioning the first process control computers at Catalytic Engineering and Construction. The 80’s, Honeywell during the development of TDC product, IUMS, and the Integrated Paper Mill programs. The 90’s he was a founding member of AAI with design responsibilities to build industrial powerhouses with B&W, Gotaverken, Kvaerner, and Siemens Westinghouse Turbine organizations. Now, he is part of a development team creating a new class of technologies that reduce carbon footprints and integrates industrial powerhouses and processes into the grid. Jim serves as an advisor to the IETC and is a board member of the Pennsylvania Southeast Smart Energy Initiative (SEI).
