Michael Stowe

Michael L. “Mike” Stowe is a seasoned engineer with nearly four decades of experience in manufacturing operations and energy efficiency. His career spans roles including production manager, maintenance manager, plant engineer, and principal engineer, with deep expertise in industrial processes and large commercial facility systems.

Mike specializes in strategic energy management (SEM), helping organizations identify low-carbon, energy-efficient solutions through collaboration with utilities, vendors, and internal teams. He is a nationally recognized speaker and subject matter expert in industrial energy efficiency, process heating technologies, ISO 50001 energy management systems, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategies. He has authored technical articles and guides, presented at numerous industry conferences, and led organizations through ISO 50001 certification and 50001 Ready implementation. Mike also serves on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC 301 for Energy Management Systems.
